I love working with Goddess Energy
And the ways to invoke this energy are infinite!
I started working with the Divine Feminine Energy about two years ago, and wish deeply that I had began working with it much much earlier.
I was explaining to my Healer how disconnected from my body I felt.
How much I didn't like looking at it, and how I was so out of touch with it's intricacies and signals (Discover ways to love your body here).
It was recommended to me to connect to GODDESS ENERGY to reconnect to my self-love.
So I started to learn more, and here is what I found...
WHAT IS FEMININE ENERGY
Goddess Energy or the Divine Feminine is not related to a gender. It is just an energy. Just like each zodiac sign is classified as male or female, an individual can have both male and female aspect to their energy or personality regardless of sex or gender.
Feminine Energy is
-Dynamic
-Flowing
-Life-giving
-Loving
-Creative
-Attractive
-Nurturing
-Magnetic
-Intuitive
-Fluid
-Sensual
-Feeling
Divine Feminine Energy isn't logical or black and white. It exists in the grey of possibilities and creates from nothingness. It is powerful in the way the water is deep and dark, yet can also become a tsunami. It is powerful the way the Earth provides nourishment for us and yet can destroy a city with a quake.
We all have feminine and goddess energy within us, but if you want to invoke more of its power, here are some ways below.
INVOKING GODDESS ENERGY
Invoking Goddess Energy is a magnificent way to access and enhance the Divine Feminine already within you.
Working with an archetype gives you an idea of what to look for and experience.
Here are some examples:
My favorite two Goddess Energies to work with are Lilith and Venus,
I like to Invoke Venus for her sensual and nurturing energy
I like to invoke Lilith for her sexual and "I don't give a damn" energy.
HOW TO INCREASE DIVINE FEMININE ENERGY
Light a candle- You can light a candle or incense while calling on a specific goddess that you want to work with, or just use the fire energy to feed the earth energy of the Divine Feminine. Fire feeds Earth, elementally speaking (take the element quiz here)
Dance- yes dance, by yourself! Or with a partner! Dance has an incredible power to connect us to our body, to our senses, and to our power.
Get Naked- This is, in my opinion, the most powerful way to connect to your inner feminine power. Explore your body however you see fit. Watch TV naked. Eat naked. Sleep naked. Work out naked. Dance Naked. Being naked is primal, it's a powerful tool of self-acknowledgment and self-love.
Nest- Make your home beautiful. Clean or decorate in a way that makes your space feel sacred. Remember, feminine energy is about the senses, pleasure, and BEing. Your home is a perfect place to cultivate those feelings
Wear a Crown- When you walk around, with the dog, or to work imagine you are wearing the crown of a specific goddess or just the crown of your femininity. This is energy work and is extremely powerful. You can do this anytime and anywhere. I did it today while waiting in the office of my acupuncturist. I just wore my golden crown of magnetism and power. After doing this consistently you will begin to notice that other people glance your way when you work with this energy. Make it a game, use your attraction force (all of which are feminine qualities)
Take a Bath- This is an incredibly nurturing way to recharge, be naked, and explore your senses while relaxing. Drop some essential oils in the hot water, turn off the lights, and enjoy.
Cook/Bake- A great way to do energy work while balancing your Root and Heart Chakras is to use your creativity to cook and bake. This enhances goddess energy through creativity, nurturing, and engaging the senses. When you cook for others, there is the added bonus of including other consciousnesses to your energy work
This list and post are not exhaustive. Once you understand more about the Divine Feminine or which (if any) Goddess you would like to work with, you will find ways that call to you and work best for what you are trying to do.
